Privacy & access
Aero is a private, read-only dashboard for approved members of the aero team. It displays snapshots of Fir jobs and solver monitoring. It does not submit jobs, transfer simulation files or control a solver.
Signing in
Sign-in takes place through Globus and your selected identity provider. Enter your Alliance password and approve Duo only on the provider's own sign-in pages. Aero does not collect or store your Alliance password.
The site uses the identity returned by Globus to check the owner's access list and identify your session. Successful sign-in does not automatically grant access to the team's data or to Fir itself. Use your own identity; the owner can approve additional team members.
Monitoring data
An authorized collector publishes read-only snapshots to the dashboard's storage. These may include job identifiers and names, queue state, resource usage, solver progress, residual and force samples, checkpoint metadata, and diagnostic messages. Full simulation files are not part of this monitoring feed.
Approved viewers can see the shared monitoring feed. A website session does not log the viewer into Fir, and a monitoring snapshot does not grant access to its underlying simulation files.
Sessions and retention
The website uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. Sign out when you finish on a shared computer. The dashboard does not store authentication tokens in browser local storage.
The owner controls stored snapshots and viewer access. Run history contains records retained by the collector; it is not a complete archive of all jobs ever run on Fir. Contact the site owner to request access removal or removal of a stored run record.
Freshness and engineering decisions
Snapshots can be delayed or unavailable. The dashboard shows feed timestamps separately from the job's reported state. Missing updates do not prove that a job failed, and a completed job does not establish that a simulation converged or its results are physically valid.
